Osvaldo Sanchez is a retired Mexican professional soccer player who is best known for his time as a goalkeeper for the Mexican national team and Club Santos Laguna in Liga MX. He was born on April 21, 1973, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Sanchez made his professional debut with Club Santos Laguna in 1993 and went on to have a successful 17-year career with the team. He was known for his strong shot-stopping abilities and leadership on the field. During his time with Santos Laguna, he won several league titles and was named the best goalkeeper in Liga MX multiple times.
Sanchez also represented Mexico at the international level, earning over 100 caps for the national team. He played in three FIFA World Cup tournaments (2002, 2006, and 2010) and was a key player for Mexico during his time with the national team.
